Despite the $30 million spent annually on weight loss and fitness products, America is still overweight. We know that there
is no quick fix, yet the search is on. Take a look at my five tips for losing weight and keeping it off.
- Eat a variety of foods. Include lots of fruit, vegetables and whole grains. Eating healthy doesn’t mean all chicken
breasts and salads.
- Control portion sizes. Learning to read labels will help you to become familiar with what an actual serving size is.
- Exercise consistently. One week of workouts does not make a fitness plan. Regular aerobic activity and resistance training
will shape and firm your body.
- Cross-train. Your body will stop responding if you do the same routine over and over. You will also get bored and lose
your motivation.
- Set realistic goals. Although it may seem as if you gained the weight overnight it didn’t happen that way. Be patient
and be honest about what you can achieve.
Making meaningful changes starts with a series of small steps, the biggest of which occurs between your ears. Get everyone
else’s voice out of your head and listen to your own. Be still long enough to hear the voice of your spirit, your source,
your own divinity guiding you along the way. It’s possible, you can change your body and your life.
